This article discusses the interactions among three nonindigenous coral species in a tropical marine fouling community. The study focuses on the Tubastraea species, which are invasive corals originally from the tropical Indo-Pacific. The researchers found that these invasive corals can coexist and interact with each other without causing harm. They also observed fusion between colonies of different Tubastraea species, creating chimeric colonies.
