| Abstract (English): | The International Leather Goods Fair (ILM) in Offenbach is facing challenges as many well-known brands such as Aigner, MCM, or Longchamp are no longer presenting themselves as exhibitors. The premium label Coccinelle has also withdrawn from all trade fairs. The leather goods retail sector is shrinking due to demographic reasons, and many retailers lack succession planning. Nevertheless, the fair sees good order volumes and an openness to new topics and innovations. Trends such as raffia, canvas, animal prints, maxi bags, half-moon bags, pastel colors, mini backpacks, and braiding are being observed. [Extracted from the article] |
[Extracted from the article] |
