Abstract (English): The purpose of this research was to analyze the effects of vertical nature on thermal comfort, within the Centro Lima commercial building, located in the district of Lima, using the Kestrel 5500 mini weather station and temperature and humidity recorders, with the purpose of proposing vertical nature (vertical gardens) inside commercial buildings of Metropolitan Lima. For which a pilot design was used, reaching the following conclusions: the environmental conditions of thermal comfort within the commercial building under investigation do not comply with the minimum safety and health provisions in workplaces, since they exceed the temperature levels and there is low humidity with low wind speed. The installed vertical nature favorably affects thermal comfort within the commercial building, regulating the basic parameters and placing them within the minimum health and safety regulations in workplaces. Abstract (Spanish): La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar los efectos de la naturación vertical en el confort térmico, dentro de la edificación comercial Centro Lima, ubicada en el distrito del Lima, utilizando la mini estación meteorológica Kestrel 5500 y registradores de temperatura y humedad, con la finalidad de proponer la naturación vertical (jardines verticales) en el interior de edificaciones comerciales de Lima Metropolitana. Para ello, se utilizó un diseño experimental piloto y se llegó a las siguientes conclusiones: las condiciones ambientales de confort térmico dentro de la edificación comercial investigada no cumplen con las disposiciones mínimas de seguridad y salud en lugares de trabajo ya que exceden los niveles de temperatura y existe una baja humedad, con escasa velocidad del viento. La naturación vertical instalada incide, favorablemente, en el confort térmico dentro de la edificación comercial, regulando los parámetros básicos y ubicándolos dentro de las disposiciones mínimas de seguridad y salud en lugares de trabajo.
