Abstract: The topics concerning the solution of differential equations with variable coefficients attracts the interest of numerous academics. We investigate the non-homogeneous thirdorder self-adjoint Euler-Cauchy operator-differential equation for the first time. The Laplace transform method is applied in this study to determine the general solution of the self-adjoint Euler-Cauchy problem. We demonstrated the effectiveness of this approach in solving the self-adjoint Cauchy-Euler differential equation in the form of the exponential functions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
