| Abstract: | The application of weighted distribution is used in many fields of real life such as medicine, reliability, ecology and so on, so we try to contribute in this field through this research. In this paper we propose a new length biased form of the Exponential-Exponential distribution called Length Biased Exponential-Exponential distribution (LBEED) and derive its statistical properties. The statistical properties including the moments, moment generating function, characteristic function, reliability functions and entropy measures are discussed. The method of maximum likelihood and method of moment was employed to estimate the parameter. The utility and adaptability of the proposed model are demonstrated by real-world data sets.
