| Abstract: |
The solar power plant capacity and quality are affected by the varying temperature and natural disasters. Sometimes, humidity and dust in the environment affect the performance of the solar plant. In this paper, a solar plant is discussed under different environmental conditions. Initially, it is assumed that the solar plant has two units, such that one is active unit and other cold standby unit. To provide regular electricity, one unit is sufficient in working mode. When the active unit fails, the standby unit starts working to provide regular electricity. To increase the reliability and performance of the plant, an expert technician is always available to perform maintenance work. It is considered that repair time and refreshment time follow the exponential distribution, while failure rate and refreshment request rate follow general distributions. The rates of change of environment from normal to abnormal and abnormal to normal follow the general distribution. The tables explore the reliability metrics under different environment conditions.
