Abstract: Due to the growing environmental challenges, sustainable business growth is now taking paramount importance. Hence, in this regard, the manufacturing sector is under tremendous pressure to adopt eco-innovation (EI) for achieving the balance between economic activities and environmental footprint. However, the available literature reports a fragmented understanding of the EI adoption process. Hence, to gain a better understanding of the latest developments in this area, this systematic literature review (SLR) examined the drivers, barriers and outcomes nexus of EI adoption for the sustainable business growth in the manufacturing sector. This SLR, conducted in accordance with PRISMA guidelines, analyzed 52 peer-reviewed articles published between 2010 and 2025. The articles were retrieved from top-tier journals that were indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. This study identified a total of 14 most frequently discussed drivers and barriers, alongside the outcomes, including economic, environmental and social aspects of EI adoption and prevalent theories in the research studies. Hence, the results of this study offer essential insights related to EI adoption for scholars and practitioners. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
