| Abstract: |
The article provides an overview of the distributed object technology supported by the mature part of the Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA)/Object Management Group (OMG) standard that is widely implemented by COBRA products. CORBA is based on the object-oriented paradigm. It has been adopted by the OMG, a consortium of more than 800 vendors and end-user companies as well as governmental and research institutions. |
