The article reports that compounders are looking for ways to improve their competitiveness. According to research by Applied Market Information, most of European compounders buy ready-to-use compounds rather than mixing additives, fillers and colorants. Grafe Color project manager J. Carlos Caro said that oil prices affect the cost of polymers. Holland Colours European sales manager Mark Edwards said that compounders cut cost and improve competitiveness by buying higher concentration of materials. |
