| Abstract: |
The article focuses on a research conducted in order to examine the effectiveness of an orthopedic teleconsulting second-opinion service offered by Istituti Ortopedici Rizzoli in Bologna, Italy. The service supports three trauma remote units of the National Insurance for Accidents at Work. The service was evaluated as satisfactory for the clinicians. It was discovered that clinicians preferred the use of the videoconferencing system and waiting for the diagnosis to come back within 78 hours. |
