| Abstract: |
The article discusses the use of contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance (MR) imaging in diagnosing heart diseases, including cardiac tumors. Information on regional myocardial contractility and contractile reserve, regional perfusion in patients with coronary artery disease can be obtained and the extent of myocardial infarction can also be evaluated with the help of the MR imaging. Myocardial blood flow in the MR imaging can be assessed by monitoring the first-pass of MR contrast medium. |
