Subjects: Computer software, Reliability engineering software
Abstract: SUMMARY Using computers in reliability analysis allows one to apply more complex and therefore more relevant models. Training professionals also require use of complex and sophisticated techniques. The software developed for practical use differs from that developed for education in many important aspects. In this paper, the experience of how software developed for practical reliability data analysis evolves as a training tool for a special continuous-type education and the influence of specially designed educational properties on the further development of the systems are shared.
