The article discusses the life and works of Robert Le Ricolais, considered as the "father of Spatial Structures." He was an engineer, architect, artist and poet. He began his career as a Hydraulics Engineer and he earned a medal from French Civil Engineering Society after he wrote an article on composite sheets. He developed the architecture of radiolaria. He incited engineers to produce lightness with heavy materials. He also developed the topology, a new method of mathematical reasoning. |
