Abstract (English):	This work is part of a wider research regarding municipal slaughterhouses built inside the Buenos Aires province by Arch./Eng. F. Salomone (F.S.), between the years 1936 and 1940. The investigation determined that the historical, architectural and environmental values of the slaughterhouses belonging to the following cities: Azul, Balcarce, Cacharí, Chillar, Cnel. Pringles, Guaminí, Laprida, Saldungaray, Salliqueló and Tres Lomas; and also their architectural types were analyzed and classified. With this opportunity, one will focus on one of the analyzed variables, which is related to normative aspects and hygienic-functional requirements that were the basis of these singular exponents of modern-industrial architecture. Abstract (Spanish):	Este trabajo pertenece a una investigación mayor sobre los mataderos municipales de la obra del Arq./Ing. F. Salamone (F.S.), los cuales se construyeron en la provincia de Buenos Aires entre los años 1936 y 1940. En esta investigación se determinaron los valores históricos, arquitectónicos (funcionales, estructurales, estilísticos) y ambientales de los mataderos de las ciudades de Azul, Balcarce, Cacharí, Chillar, Cnel. Pringles, Guaminí, Laprida, Saldungaray, Salliqueló y Tres Lomas; y se hallaron y clasificaron sus tipos arquitectónicos. En esta oportunidad se desarrollará sólo una de las variables analizadas, la cual se relaciona con aspectos normativos y requerimientos higiénico-funcionales que dieron nacimiento a estos exponentes singulares de la arquitectura moderna industrial.
