Abstract: Abstract: Multiferrocenyl derivatives FcC(CH3)2Fc′–CFc(A) (Fc=C5H5FeC5H4, Fc′=C5H5FeC5H3) and FcC(CH3)2Fc′–CCFc′C(CH3)2Fc (B) have been synthesized and characterized by MS, NMR, FT-IR and elemental analysis. The molecular structure of compound A was given by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The electron transfer numbers of two compounds were determined by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperomeric technique. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
