Abstract: The article discusses a study which aims to connect the gap through the development of an augmented process model and system architecture, enabling integrated databases to support collaborative extranets at the tender stage with a minimum degree of resistance and reengineering. The study adopted interviews and case studies for data collection and analysis in order to achieve a hybrid qualitative and quantitative research methodology pragmatic researcher. It uses numerous titles to denote the web based collaborative extranets such as web-based project management systems (WPMS), document management systems (DMS), and project extranets.
