Abstract: The article describes a project in physics entitled "So You Want to Be an Author," assigned to three classes of advanced physics student in the U.S. The physics students were assigned the task of writing a 32-page book on a randomly assigned topic of physics in upper elementary level, which the students will submit to the literary firm of Big Daddy McHaddy & Associates. The assigned topics include electric circuits, electricity, energy, fluids, magnetism, temperature, heat and optics.
