| Abstract: |
The article looks at the Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) for Process Control (OPC) project at the Austin Energy Decker Road power plant and discusses how to have a better diagnostic support of this technology. OPC is an industry standard for communication between applications in a control system. The power plant considered using OPC to open up the system for advanced control schemes and to reduce the effort to provide reports. |
