Abstract: The article discusses the strategy of Brazilian plastics company Sansuy SA Indústria de Plásticos to compete with Chinese imports. According to Toshio Nakabayashi, the company's chief executive officer (CEO ), the company has decided to realign and shift its business focus on four areas, namely, water, environment, food and energy, noting how these areas are part of the cycle of sustainability. As part of its realignment, its markets now include agribusiness, mining/sanitation and civil construction.
