Abstract: Information on several papers discussed at the Digital Humanities 2010 (DH 2010) conference held July 7-10 hosted by the Department of Digital Humanities and the Centre for e-Research, along with the support of professor Rick Trainor is presented. Topics include the challenges facing the digital humanities, Text-Encoding Initiative (TEI)'s guidelines, and geographic information systems (GIS) . The conference featured several presenters including Melissa Terras, Simon Wiles, and Ian Gregory.
