Abstract: The authors comment on a discussion about their paper "Discharge coefficient for free and submerged flow over Piano Key weirs (PKW)". The authors thank the discussers for their interest in this paper. They make some clarifications, such as that the present PKW models were made of galvanized iron of one millimeter thickness. They also raised their concern that the scale effects were not considered by the discussers.
