Abstract: The article discusses the development of the Argument Web, a URI-addressable structure of linked argument data. According to the authors, the Argument Web enables users to follow a line of argument across disparate forums, comments, editorials, and multimedia resources. They discuss the isolation of the Web's vocal communities such as blogs, Reddit and Twitter. Moreover, the article highlights several tools, systems and standards for linking argument data included in the Web and its objective to improve the quality of online argument and debate.
