Abstract: Highlights: [•] 12 New and 9 known eudesmanes and germacranes were isolated from the whole plants of I. wissmanniana. [•] Rare 4,5-secoeudesmane, 3,4-secoeudesmane, and eudesman-12,5-olides were elucidated. [•] Unusual germacra-4-en-12,6-olides were reported as well. [•] ECD and X-ray analyses were applied to determine the absolute stereochemistry of new isolates. [•] Some isolates exhibited strong NO inhibition in macrophages and cytotoxicity in tumor cells.
