Abstract: The article presents a profile of the graduate teaching assistant internship program hosted by the School of Library and Information Management at Emporia State University (ESU) of Emporia, Kansas. An overview of the rationale and methods used by the ESU library instruction curriculum is given, along with discussion of the program's current benefits and challenges. Concluding reflections on the future of the program are also included.
