The article discusses the use of cell phones in teaching. According to the authors, cell phones can be used to promote student engagement, cooperative learning, and learning outside the classroom. It is suggested that cell phones can help students engage in nonlinguistic communication and increase communication between teachers and parents. Topics discussed include texting, memory, and recognition of student achievements. |
