Abstract (English): In Ecuador, on April 20, 2015, the Organic Law for Labor Justice and the Recognition of Work at Home, they reform the Labor Code and the Social Security Law, abolishing the fixed-term contract, and consequently, the eviction of employers, establishing the Indefinite Contract as a typical modality of Labor Recruitment. The objective of this article is to investigate through the legal analysis how effective these labor policies are adopted by Ecuador when guaranteeing the worker stability of the labor market, for which we will take as reference cases from countries with similar labor legislation.
