Abstract (English):	The article analyzes how it was addressed the attention to the Spanish Liberal State Building during the Nineteen Century in the recent Secondary Education History textbooks. From the study of this topic and its treatment in textbooks, it traces the problems that affect the teaching of history, as its stiffness when incorporating new historiography works from the university. This work studies the structure of textbooks, their contents, resources and activities in relation to the implementation of the historical thinking competences. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
