Abstract:	The article discusses how the state of Maryland was able to adapt the National School Library Standards for adoption of their state standards for school libraries. Topics covered include the steps and timeline that have been implemented at the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) to submit the standards for review and acceptance by the state board of education, and an Open Educational Resources (OER) Hub launched in Maryland.
