Abstract (English):	We present results from a survey applied to 26 social-science students with ages between 17 and 18 years. A motion- related problem was chosen from a analytic geometry textbook for high school level students in Mexico. The problem text has confusing data that make text comprehension difficult. The interpretation of the students to such a text is analyzed as well as the drawings and solutions they give to the problem in question. The possible influence of logical reasoning and cognitive reflection on the solutions is discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish):	Se presenta los resultados de una encuesta realizada a un grupo de 26 alumnos de tercero de preparatoria, del área de sociales, con edades entre 17 y 18 años. Se eligió un problema relacionado con movimiento propuesto un libro de texto de geometría analítica del nivel medio superior de México. El problema tiene datos confusos que dificultan la comprensión del texto. Se analiza la interpretación que hacen los estudiantes del texto, así como los dibujos y las soluciones que presentan. Se discute la posible influencia del razonamiento lógico y la reflexión cognitiva en sus respuestas. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
