There is an analysis of the different textbook definitions of thermodynamics. The common points and main differences are analyzed in the context of the beginning of an introductory course. Se presenta una discusión sobre las diferentes definiciones de la Termodinámica que pueden encontrarse en los libros de texto. Los puntos en común así como las principales diferencias se analizan en el contexto de su presentación en el inicio de un curso introductorio.
