The main objective of this research was to analyze credit risk and its influence on the liquidity of the Savings and Credit Union Mushuc Runa Ltda. for which the mixed paradigm of research and inductive-deductive, analytical-synthetic, historical-logical and statistical-mathematical methods were used, all allowed a detailed analysis of the financial situation of the cooperative and the risk of the overdue portfolio. El objetivo principal de la presente investigación fue analizar el riesgo crediticio y su influencia en la liquidez de la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Mushuc Runa Ltda. para lo cual se utilizó el paradigma mixto de investigación y los métodos inductivo-deductivo, analítico-sintético, histórico-lógico y estadístico-matemático; todos permitieron realizar un análisis detallado de la situación financiera de la cooperativa y del riesgo de la cartera vencida.
