With the objective to describe the methodology used by professors to teach Artistic Education in schools with Extended Shifts, a study of cases was done through the repetition of 15 interviews in 15 schools in Santiago, as well as 7 class observation videos of the interviewees. Median age was 34 years old, ranging from 23 to 51, working from 4th to 6th grade. A classifying qualitative analysis of the interviews as well as the videos was done, based on the common characteristics of the answers. Half the participants didn't have a previous background and only a few had only taken courses on the topic; they taught it because "someone had to do it" or to fill in the gaps on their work day schedules. Con el objetivo de describir la metodología utilizada por los docentes para la enseñanza de la Educación Artística en las escuelas de Jornada Escolar Extendida, se realizó un estudio de casos repetidos mediante 15 entrevistas, en 15 escuelas de Santiago, así como 7 videos de observación de las clases de los entrevistados. La mediana de edad de los participantes fue de 34 años, de 23 a 51, sirviendo entre los grados 4to. a 6to. Se realizó un análisis cualitativo clasificatorio de las entrevistas y videos, basado en las características comunes de las respuestas. La mitad de los participantes no tenía formación previa y solo algunos habían tomado cursos sobre el tema; la impartían porque "alguien tenía que hacerlo" o para completar su horario.
