The article focuses on the English, Maths and ESOL Conference 2020, which discussed enhancing the adult basic skills in Great Britain, that was held on November 4, 2020. The conference titled "Adult basic skills: building back better' panel" was hosted by the Learning and Work Institute. Sam Sims, the chief executive officer of National Numeracy organization, stated the need for focusing on adult basic skills and how it would help the employment and skills policy response. |
