Abstract: The article discusses the increasing popularity of dual-enrollment programs, and their benefits in improving equitable access to high-quality education in the U.S. Also cited are the National Student Clearinghouse data on dual-enrollment in 2020, how the COVID-19 pandemic increased students' interest in dual-enrollment, and the What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) study showing the benefits of dual-enrollment on college transitions.
