Sex Roles (Periodical) |
| Abstract: |
The author considers the history of the journal "Sex Roles" and how the scholarly journal has changed over its 46 year history of publication. She considers her own ideas on feminism, the journal's aims and scope, how gender has historically been embedded in society and cultural shifts that have seen social change, the interrelationship between gender and intersectionality, and social constructs of gender which embrace masculine, feminine, and binary outlooks. |
