| Abstract: | In the article, the authors discuss the reasons why objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) should be held online using the framework developed by M. T. Kane to collect and interpret evidence supporting the proposed shift. Also cited are the four key inferences in Kane's framework like scoring, generalization, and extrapolation, and how a well-designed virtual OSCE is better than poorly designed in-person OSCE. |
