Abstract (English): The aim of this study is to highlight the role of non-formal educational spaces in the development of materials related to media sex education. The proposed methodology is based on a case study centred on the Youth Council of the Principality of Asturias and, specifically, on materials aimed at teachers and educators produced between 2014 and the present. The results analyse five guides that pay attention to the media elements that young people consume and that can be better adapted to the development, experiences and problems derived from the daily coexistence with TRICs. It is concluded that the materials presented are presented as useful resources to address sexuality education due to their ease of access and a theoretical design that guarantees a direct and close approach to the needs of both teachers and students.
