The authors explore the task of co-constructing norms by educators to help build community and create buy-in. Topics discussed include the challenge of the co-construction approach, details of the approach taken in the Knowles Teacher Initiative, the importance of providing a set of consistent norms at the beginning of the teachers' fellowship experience, and reactions of fellows to the norms. |
