The article analyzes the presence of sociology in the training of physical education teachers in Spain, specifically at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM). The study plans and teaching programs of both universities, as well as the corresponding legislation, are examined. It is concluded that sociology is present in the degrees of Maestro and in the degree of CCAFyD, but it is not explicitly found in the teacher training master's programs. The importance of including sociology in the training of physical education teachers is highlighted, and its inclusion in the study programs is proposed. [Extracted from the article] |

El artículo analiza la presencia de la sociología en la formación del profesorado de educación física en España, específicamente en las universidades Complutense de Madrid (UCM) y Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). Se examinan los planes de estudio y programas docentes de ambas universidades, así como la legislación correspondiente. Se concluye que la sociología está presente en los grados de Maestro y en el grado de CCAFyD, pero no se encuentra de forma explícita en los másteres de formación del profesorado. Se destaca la importancia de incluir la sociología en la formación del profesorado de educación física y se propone su inclusión en los programas de estudio. [Extracted from the article] |
