| Abstract: |
This article highlights the recent addition of two standards to the National Standards for Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences. The new standards in the areas of wellness and laboratory management provide clear and precise guidance for post-secondary family and consumer sciences (FCS) teacher educators as well as for secondary FCS educators who introduce students to "teach and train" career pathways. Recommendations for implementation of the new standards are included. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
