| Abstract: | Informed by the 2021 NCTE conference theme and Kimberlé Crenshaw's concept of intersectionality, queer and award-winning authors, illustrators, and scholars of children's and young adult literature shared their experiences and expertise via a webcam presentation and panel to discuss intersectional identities--including sexuality, gender, race, and other ways of being--in texts and the importance of such representations for all youth.
