This article reports on the practical strategies teachers employed using process drama with Year 6 students. The paper describes The Green Children play building program, a creative arts/English focus that occurred during Home Learning using Zoom and Google Classroom lessons in 2021. It showcases the written responses of the students. Questions asked during process drama activities are included and reflect the ability of students to entertain and engage in analytic thinking and critical reading. Ideas imagined, created and contested by the students are evident while concepts such as identity, difference and diversity are interrogated.
