This work presents the theoretical foundations that support a research protocol based on how to promote good nutrition and its impact on students' school performance as well as concepts from various authors and characterization; there is also diverse information on healthy and adequate nutrition in the different stages of life, given the need they have to put this knowledge into practice, also a research protocol is proposed that conceives the design of an educational strategy for promoting good nutrition and its impact on the school performance of 2nd grade students at Ignacio Ramírez de Cocula Elementary School, Guerrero. En este trabajo se presentan los fundamentos teóricos que dan sustento a un protocolo de investigación en función de cómo favorecer una buena nutrición y su impacto en el rendimiento escolar de los alumnos así como conceptos de diversos autores y caracterización; también se plasma diversa información sobre la alimentación saludable y adecuada en las distintas etapas de la vida, dado a la necesidad que tienen de poner en práctica dichos conocimientos, también así se propone un protocolo de investigación que concibe el diseño de una estrategia educativa para el favorecimiento de una buena nutrición y su impacto en el rendimiento escolar de los alumnos del 2do grado de la escuela primaria Ignacio Ramírez de Cocula, Guerrero.
