| Abstract: | Overall, this special issue makes a significant contribution to international VET research, deriving important implications for international VET transfer practice. The question of the internationalization and transferability of Vocational Education and Training (VET) system approaches and the possibility of VET export play a major role in international VET cooperation (Tran & Dempsey, 2017). By identifying the specific strengths and shortcomings of the empirical VET transfer research, the authors reveal central desiderata and also derive recommendations on how to strengthen future research and evidence-based VET practice.
