| Abstract (English): | The purpose of this article is to address the process of identity construction of eight experienced early childhood educators in Chile, analyzing those biographical traces that constitute their experience in initial teacher education (ITE). The method is qualitative, descriptiveinterpretative in scope and with a biographical-narrative orientation, developed from semistructured interviews, timelines and biograms. A thematic analysis is developed in which those biographical traces valued by the educators were grouped and it is concluded that the traces are mainly associated with practicum experiences, personal experiences and university experiences. It is emphasized that need to incorporate in ITE a perspective of identity construction, both in the practicum and in the rest of the subjects, articulating both the subjective and objective aspects of the teaching work in early childhood education. | Abstract (Spanish): | El presente artículo tiene como propósito abordar el proceso de construcción identitaria de ocho educadoras de párvulos experimentadas de Chile, analizando aquellas huellas biográficas constitutivas de su experiencia en la formación inicial docente (FID). El método es cualitativo, de alcance descriptivo-interpretativo y con una orientación biográfico-narrativa, desarrollado a partir de entrevistas semiestructuradas, líneas de tiempo y biogramas. Se desarrolla un análisis temático en el que se agruparon aquellas huellas biográficas valorizadas por las educadoras y se concluye que las huellas están principalmente asociadas a experiencias de la formación práctica, a experiencias personales y experiencias universitarias. Se resalta la necesidad de incorporar en la FID una perspectiva de construcción identitaria, tanto en las prácticas como en el resto de las asignaturas, articulando los aspectos subjetivos y objetivos del quehacer docente en la educación parvularia. | Abstract (Portuguese): | O objetivo deste artigo é abordar o processo de construção da identidade de oito educadores experientes da primeira infância no Chile, analisando os traços biográficos de sua experiência na formação inicial de professores (FIP). O método é qualitativo, de escopo descritivointerpretativo e com uma orientação biográfico-narrativa, desenvolvido a partir de entrevistas semiestruturadas, linhas do tempo e biogramas. É desenvolvida uma análise temática na qual os traços biográficos valorizados pelos educadores foram agrupados e conclui-se que os traços estão associados principalmente a experiências de treinamento prático, experiências pessoais e experiências universitárias. É enfatizada a necessidade de incorporar na FIP uma perspectiva de construção de identidade, tanto nas práticas quanto no restante dos sujeitos, articulando os aspectos subjetivos e objetivos do trabalho docente na educação infantil.
