| Abstract (English): | The article reflects on the challenges and tensions faced by the Mexican Council of Educational Research (COMIE) in relation to educational research in Mexico. It emphasizes the importance of recognizing the complexity of education as a social phenomenon and a human right, as well as the need to promote collaborative work and knowledge generation. Challenges such as leading the development of mega-projects, using new forms of dissemination and publication of results, developing techniques and instruments based on new technologies, and promoting inclusive perspectives in educational research are mentioned.
