Abstract (English): The article "Literary Heritage of the 21st Century: Five Case Studies" analyzes works and authors that reflect the Spanish common sense of the Baby Boomer generation. These boomers raised the best-prepared generation in Spain, but with the 2008 crisis, the current generation is considered a victim of a country and a reality that does not fulfill its promises. The article proposes reflecting on this common sense as a collective heritage and questioning its relevance in the construction of current society. It presents five case studies in the literary heritage of the 21st century, focusing on the works of Espido Freire, Andrés Neuman, Pablo Gutiérrez, Elvira Navarro, and Cristina Morales. The writers explore the difficulties and precarities of life in Spain, and it is proposed to question the common sense and the Spanish social reality in order to form a more critical citizenship in the future.
