The challenges of teacher unionism in the 21st century are recognized as varied, given the constitutional reforms in education that have limited their actions since 2013; Thus, the objective of this document is to expose some challenges that arise for the Union of Teachers at the Service of the State of Mexico. For the above, it has been necessary to historically trace the gestation of unions in Mexico and its normative foundation from its substantive law contained in article 123 of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States and its procedural law: the Federal Labor Law. It points to the need to revalue the teaching work from the gestation of better working conditions for hiring and in the service. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

Los retos del sindicalismo magisterial en el siglo XXI se reconocen variados, dadas las reformas constitucionales en materia educativa que han acotado su actuar desde 2013; así, el objetivo del presente documento es exponer algunos retos que se presentan para el Sindicato de Maestros al Servicio del Estado de México. Para lo anterior, ha sido necesario rastrear históricamente la gestación de sindicatos en México y su fundamento normativo desde su ley sustantiva contenida en el artículo 123 de la Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos y su ley adjetiva: la Ley Federal del Trabajo. Se apunta a la necesidad de revalorizar la labor docente a partir de la gestación de mejores condiciones laborales de contratación y en el servicio. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
