Abstract (English): This research is based on the implementation of the participatory action research (PAR) methodology, which is used as a technique for collecting information and systematizing experiences during the process. The learning of Braille literacy is observed as an analytical-associative process that allows interaction with the information that strengthens thinking skills enabling planning, organization and self-regulation of learning; therefore, the appropriation of the Braille system codes in blind people, along with the accompaniment of the teacher and the use of teaching strategies becomes the opportunity to develop skills and improve the results in the acquisition of literacy.
