Abstract (English): The objective of the article is to show the importance of cultural education, through education circles (CECE) from the training of future caregivers, whose function is not only to provide curative care to the population, but also preventive by promoting health, seeking to contribute to the epidemiological reduction of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes mellitus and high blood pressure, at the same time that the nursing professional in primary care benefits economically and develops independent work with adherence to ethics, vocational commitment and application of knowledge based on nursing theories acquired in undergraduate and reinforced in postgraduate studies to improve the quality of care users. Abstract (Spanish): El objetivo del artículo es mostrar la importancia de la Educación Cultural, a través de Circulos de Educación (CECE) desde la formación de futuros responsables del cuidado, cuya función, no es solo dar cuidado curativo a la población, sino preventivo haciendo promoción a la salud, buscando contribuir en la disminución epidemilógica de enfermedades no transmisibles como la diabetes mellitus y la hipertensión arterial, al mismo tiempo que el profesional de enfermería en la atención primaria sea beneficiado económicamente y desarrolle un trabajo independiente con apego a la ética, compromiso vocacional y aplicación de conocimientos sustentados en teorías de la enfermería adquiridos en el pregrado y con reforzamiento en posgrado para mejora de la calidad de los usuarios demandantes de cuidado.
